Who needs friends with V?
Fly this. Airline V Australia has launched a Facebook application, One Way Ticket, to promo single airline fares. Users of the app have to nominate one or more of their ‘frienemies’ – they’re pals you don’t get on with – to win a one way ticket to either Los Angeles, Phuket or Johannesburg.
The top 10 frienemies – ranked by nominations – will get single tickets (though V Australia is promising that the return part of the trip is actually part of the package).
