When Twitter met iPad
The 140-character iPad app is with us. “We are bringing Tweets to a device that really lets content shine – the iPad,” says Twitter. “Twitter for iPad takes advantage of the iPad’s fluid touch interface, letting you move lots of information around smoothly and quickly – without needing to open and close windows or click buttons.”
There’s realtime search, ‘Top Tweets’, trending topics and maps showing what’s happening here, there and elsewhere. Users can tweet (natch), send DMs, share photos, videos and links to their friends… and the world.
