Wendy’s freshens up for artists
Wendy’s space. Fast food brand Wendy’s has joined forces with MySpace Records to launch an online programme to showcase emerging artists. The nine-episode series, Fresh Faces, aims to depict a ‘day in the life’ of three budding artists, with each given a trio of shows apiece. First up is alternative pop rock band Friends For Hire, who will be followed by a new hip-hop artist from Los Angeles and a Brooklyn based beat-pop band. The artists have all been chosen by MySpace Records. A new webisode debuts every Wednesday on MySpace.com/Wendys.
brand-e.biz: OK, it’s a fine cause and possibly entertaining – but where’s the fit for Wendy’s?
