The video, inspired by the Robert Doisneau pic Le Baiser de l’Hotel de Ville (now there’s originality for you), is a story of… a couple doing lots of kissing in Paris along to music from… Rufus Wainwright. Integrated stuff. Eh?
The heart of the story is that the girl never wants to leave Paris. But his clip is unlikely to make anyone want to go. Three and a half minutes of longueur. And isn’t ‘cliché’ a French word? Bah, oui.
