What happens when Pringle of Scotland recruits art photographer Ryan McGinley and Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton? Well, you get an eight-minute short film featuring a lot of Scots landscape through which the Academy Award winner feels compelled to run, and a castle through which she clambers – in swanky and inappropriate garb. It kinda has drama, yet not. Beyond pretentious? Maybe.
In short, we much prefer David Shrigley’s animated film for the same brand. And Shrigley does Pringle Tee shirts, too. So there.
