Converse has tasked its Facebook fans with selling branded footwear. Via the Made By app on the social network, users can design their very own versions of the brand’s shoes, and then market them via a Facebook store. And five pairs sold equals one pair free for the social media designers.


Tweet for Gaga retail

Consumers can tweet their way into Barneys Madison Avenue with Gaga Constellation, part of Lady Gaga’s Holiday Workshop on the New York Store. Users tweet their holiday wishes into the constellation’s window installation with the #gagastars hashtag and posts are selected by Gaga design collaborator Nicola Formichetti.
