Pop-Tarts pop-up bows in NYC

Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts brand is planning to open a pop-up store in New York’s Times Square in August. There will samplings from the Pop-Tarts World Cafe, a chance to encounter the Varietizer, which produces tailored boxes of Pop-Tarts featuring favourite flavors. Plus there’s the Customization Station for designing Pop-Tarts Tees.


Uniqlo exports do-good practice

There’s only one retail education

If you want to get that degree in sales, then it could be time to get yourself off to Harrods. The upscale department store has joined forces with Anglia Ruskin University to become to first UK retailer to get into formal education. Teaching will take place onsite with academics and the store’s in-house trainers.

drawing_clubBy Simon Fuller. Sketch off. Hip clothing brand Lazy Oaf loves exploring creativity – and, as evidenced by the funky designs, likes to draw too. So what better way to promote the brand – and its new limited edition Tee shirt collection – than to hold a drawing club?
Last Thursday night saw Soho’s Shorts Gardens host the second annual Lazy Oaf Drawing Club, an event encouraging the public to get out their pens and get drawing. If paper wasn’t good enough, budding artists could scribble all over… helium balloons. And for those out of inspiration, there were live drawing masterclasses from the likes of Rosy Nicholas, Bob London and Zero Ten, including artists who had worked on Lazy Oaf’s range of shirts.
