The richest market for paid apps? That would be Norway where revenue per download stands at $0.37 (In the US $0.22, and in China $0.04). The fastest-growing markets are in East Asia – download activity is up almost 300% in China, 98% in Japan, over the past year.

Warner Music Group has published the Road to Rock app for iPad, a children’s colouring/comic book, documenting the story of fictional eighties hair metal band, Jet Vegas. With the app, young readers can follow the band’s rise to top of the rock and roll world.


Mercedes aims for interactive drive

Mercedes-Benz UK has developed an interactive showroom brochure app for the iPad for the C-Class Coupé. The digital marketing initiative enables readers to compare every detail of selected cars from various angles and lets them use an interactive configurator to mix and match styling.
