Kiss tees off in Las Vegas

kiss-golfKiss By Monster Mini Golf, the rock ‘n roll themed amusement attraction based on the band Kiss, has opened in Las Vegas with co- founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, as well as band members Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer, in on the show, writes Maria Stadtmueller. Stanley and Simmons will slash through the ceremonial ribbon with their guitars and walk the Black Carpet with other notable guests.

Shoppers trying on items of apparel for the new collection can pose for an Instagram photo in one of the fashion retailer’s Exhibitionist booths.


The Converse music studio hits SXSW

The brand will give local artists the opportunity to record at its Converse Rubber Tracks in Austin pop-up studio and present events such as The Filter & Converse Rubber Tracks Showcase, the Boston To Austin music showcase, and the Converse X Thrasher Death Match which will shine a light on break-out artists who have already recorded at the home studio back in Brooklyn.


Bowie’s Ziggy hangs in London

David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust is set to get a wall plaque in London’s Heddon Street. The fictional rocker is set to be honoured by the Crown Estate later this month. The sign will be pinned on the West End’s Heddon Street.
