Samsung gets the shakes
Dropped calls. Samsung Sweden has placed a number of its B2100 mobile phones atop a glass table in a studio. And they’re up for grabs in the Samsung Shakedown, see. All consumers have to do is a call 07333171, plus the number tacked on a handset. That will make it vibrate. It might then fall off the table. If so, the caller wins it. There are four camera angles to choose from, so players can use the phones wisely.
Oh, there are concrete slabs and a fish tank on the floor, too. All we know there is that ‘mobiles will be taken out of the fish tank 20 minutes after the fall’.
One question. Would you want a phone which has fallen off a table? Well, Samsung reckons its B2100s are tough little muthas given that they’re made partly out of the same material as skateboard wheels.
