Rocking in Terminal Five
Lotta shakin. JetBlue Airways is giving passengers at New York’s JFK Airport the mute treatment with its Silent Disco. Dancers listening to DJ Mark get to wear wireless headphones to pick up the tracks, while everyone else in terminal five watches in silence.
“Our Silent Disco is about giving customers and crew members the chance to tune in to some great music, to burn some energy before getting on a flight or to shake out the stress of the week,” said Kim Ruvolo, brand manager for JetBlue. “That’s been the goal of our Live from the T5 series – to give everyone at the terminal unique and entertaining experiences.”
The airline is also running Live from T5, a six-month, 12-date live music concert series featuring performances by emerging artists on select Fridays throughout the year.
