Putting the brand into video
Video stars. More than 80% of execs from Fortune 500 brands, US regional brands, digital, PR and traditional agencies, say their companies are already using online video in their marketing efforts, according to a survey carried out last quarter by TurnHere.
And branded content is the preferred online video content type among respondents, with the highest current use among video formats, highest overall satisfaction levels and highest likelihood of future use.
TurnHere also found that almost 60% of those surveyed have created branded content for the web, while close to 40% have created editorial video content.
Branding and reaching the large video-viewing audiences on video sites are the main reasons companies give for using online video, with respondents also citing viral campaigns and keeping people on their sites. (see below).
