Puma orchestrates football, love

puma_valentineBy Steve Mullins. Love match. Guys have a problem. And that’s because Valentine’s Day falls on the weekend. So what to do about the footie match? Fortunately, those Puma people have been working on the issue and, just in time, have come up with a solution which just might work.
We bring you news of the Puma Hardchorus. It’s aimed at squaring 14th February 2010’s big issue. As the sports brand so simply puts it: ‘They want to be in your arms. You want to be in the stands.’
And thanks to Puma – with a little help from the boys – it is possible to satisfy one’s partner… and still see the game.
So, the way Hardchorus scores is by assembling a bunch of males before the game and getting them to sing a love song. Cue Truly Madly Deeply, Kop-style. All football fans need to do is take hold of the two-minute Puma clip, personalize it and share it with a loved one. Either via e-mail, or by posting it on an amour’s Facebook wall.
Or as Puma says, ‘Let your better half know how you feel’.
And all those benefiting from this brand utility can thank Tottenham Hotspur fans and a few pro singers for their help.
Wait, there’s more. We all know football is an international a language as love. So there’s an Italian song amore too. Il Serenata.
