Prius meets iPhone in Times Square
Auto app. Toyota last week rolled an iPhone application, the Prius Experience App, that allowed mobile users to hook into a Reuters billboard in New York’s Times Square for three days.
Consumers were able to interact directly with billboard using the app’s ‘draw’ function and sketch eco drawings that were transmitted directly to the giant screen featuring the Prius.
The app also boasts a 10-level game, a feature that enables users to interact with Prius ads in mags, and a 360-degree handset tour of the car.
The app is part of the Prius Harmony Between Man, Nature and Machine campaign.
