Perils of mobile web
Bad mobile. Users are much less likely to return to a mobile website if they have had a bad experience, and many turn to a brand’s competitive sites instead, according to survey of US mobile web users carrier out by Gomez/Equation Research.
More than half of mobile web users are unlikely to go back to a website that they have had trouble accessing from their phone, while more than two thirds are unlikely to recommend the site. In addition, 26% of respondents say they would tell friends and family about their poor experience. Close to one fifth say it would give them a negative perception of the brand.
