Pepsi app Amps up dating
Mobile manning. Pepsi has launched an iPhone application for its Amp Energy drink. The Amp Up Before You Score app provides a series of flip cards on two dozen different types of women – including the ‘aspiring actress’, the ‘cougar’ and the ‘treehugger’ – as well as potential chat-up lines.
“Tired of looking forward to a night out with the ladies, only to wind up scuttling home clutching nothing more than your limp ego?” Pepsi asks. “Oh yes you are.”
Which is why the brand has lit the free app it claims will change a man’s game, and raise his expectations.
It all sounds easy enough. “Got your eye on a girl and aren’t sure how to get started? Pick out her profile, flip the card, and study up quick with a cheatsheet on the stuff she’s into, with lists, links and some surefire opening lines.”
Those getting lucky using the Amp Up Before You Score iPhone app get to add the girl to a ‘brag list’ where they can flaunt their success. Friends can be kept up to speed via e-mail, Facebook and Twitter.
“Amp Up Before You Score has everything you need to make you look forward to what’s next. (With you, we mean. We’re talking about you.),” Pepsi says.
