Out of South Africa
Shirt order. adidas has just sent a shirt on a seven-month journey through South Africa. This is no mere piece of cloth, though, but a replica of the official Bafana Bafana (South African football squad) jersey. And it’s giant, coming in at 60 metres by 48 metres.
The Unite Mzansi Unite campaign aims to pull South Africa together by giving as many citizens as possible the opportunity to make their mark by signing their names on the jersey. And to unite in celebration behind the 2010 FIFA World Cup, of course.
