Olive, the smartphone movie
Meet Olive, the first full-length smartphone film, shot entirely on a Nokia N8. Olive stars Gina Rowlands. And that’s not all. Also appearing in the movie is Randi Zuckerberg, former Facebook marketing director… and sister of CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The plot revolves around the eponymous Olive, a girl who transforms the lives of people without saying a single word.
The makers of the independently-financed movie are looking to release it in more than 2,000 cinemas across the US, and they are looking for $300,000 to finance distribution. Which is why they have just launched a crowdfunding project on Kickstarter.
