Which retail brand is doing best at engaging customers across channels? That would be Nordstrom, whose smart use of mobile helps users scan items in-store and view store-specific deals, according to Acquity’s Brand eCommerce Audit. Home Depot takes second spot thanks to strong social engagement via Pinterest and YouTube, though an underwhelming mobile site has held in back. RadioShack’s strong social media presence, especially via YouTube and Instagram, pushes the brand into third place and helps compensate for a lacklustre mobile channel and lack of a tablet app.
