Nike retails baseball culture
Game on. At Nike’s 255 Elizabeth Street, New York, concept store consumers can now pick up sportswear and lean on a team of design consultants for a piece of tailored gear. Nike has teamed up with local creative community No Mas to celebrate the baseball season and baseball culture from the likes of Cuba, The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Japan, with the Hogar y Visitantes custom garment programme integrating elements from those countries and from NYC.
Wait there’s more from Nike in Manhattan. The brand has also just opened the Bowery Stadium with a touch of the FIFA World Cup via an art installation Order & Progress to celebrates Brazilian football through a New York lens. The space will be used for sports programmes such as the NYC Bridge Runners.
