Man City augment Premier League
Manchester City Football Club have a launched an augmented reality app on the MCFC.co.uk website to enable all City fans to lift the Premier League Trophy as the team did recently.
“We first launched our augmented reality app last year following the FA Cup Final,” says Victoria Stansfield, digital delivery manager for Man City. “The response from fans worldwide wanting to lift the FA Cup was incredible, therefore it was only right we did it again, this time with Premier League Trophy.
“Our Membership cards with augmented reality markers let fans fly a 360-degree Etihad plane earlier in the year. This season coming we intend to unlock much more digital content, allowing fans to interact with the Club like never before.”
