Karl reclothes Libé
Karl Lagerfeld was French daily Libération’s guest editor and illustrator for the day on 22nd June – and rather predictably put himself on the cover. The fashion designer – who completely eschewed photos and ran the issue ran to twice its normal length – came out against digital news, saying ‘the world could collapse and I would still keep reading the papers’.
Lagerfeld didn’t find the need to use pencils in his illustrations, preferring instead the colour palette offered by Shu Uemura cosmetics.
