Creativity to die for

  • Sharebar

createOgilvy & Mather has rolled out its Create Or Else channel on YouTube. The platform will get a raft of curators to provide a changing line-up of video with subjects ‘across all fields from arts to science to industry and beyond’.
“If you’re anything like most creative people, you’re always looking for inspiration and unique expressions,” says the first curator, Lars Bastholm, chief digital creative officer for O&M North America, the channel’s first curator. “If you’re anything like me, you can easily spend untold hours scouring the wild west of the Internet in the vain hope of finding a glimmer of inspiration. Create or Else was created to give you a starting point for your journey. We hope you’ll find that the ever-changing content inspires and entertains you.”
The first series of videos include an interview with ‘meditative artist’ Suran Song, while ‘brick artist’ Nathan Sawaya creates large-scale sculptures using only LEGO bricks. There’s also work from Fashion Photographer Roderick Angel, actor Casey Siemaszko, and painter Alexander Esguerra.
“Create or Else is a destination to engage and encourage those around the world to become part of a community and conversation about what is inspiring,” says Tham Khai Meng, creative director and chairman, worldwide creative council of Ogilvy & Mather.
