cool creative: when the biro met the mag

Inky dink. Last week we told you about one bit of old media – the newspaper – being reinvented by the new with The Twitter Tim.es. So it seems only fitting that we should bring you news of the serious deployment of a good old-fashioned ballpoint pen in a campaign developed by Cámara/TBWA Uruguay. The agency took a copy of the monthly mag Freeway – read by Uruguayan students – and rewrote it all (except the ads) using Bic biros. Painstaking work indeed – here’s the ‘Making of’ clip.
