Consumers picky on apps
More than three-quarters of mobile app users expect all brand name companies to boast a mobile application, according to research conducted by EffectiveUI/Harris Interactive.
So, every brand needs an app then. Not so fast. Close to 70% of users say they would have negative feelings if a brand had an app that wasn’t useful. And, in fact, 40% of those questioned say they were not satisfied with most apps from their favorite brands.
