Close encounters of a 3D kind
Grand vision. CBS Outdoor and visual-tech outfit N4D have teamed up to launch Grand Central Station’s first 3D digital signage campaign, featuring a 14-foot screen displaying commercials in another dimension throughout February. N4D estimates that over 1 million pairs of eyes will view the 3D spots, which feature a very familiar voiceover in the shape of Morgan Freeman, on behalf of Visa and the Winter Olympics.
We have the video. And yes, New Yorkers need glasses to get that third angle.
“We see this type of advertising approach becoming very popular with companies looking to reach viewers that have become desensitized to traditional media,” says N4D resident Lance Hilton.
