Blogging the races
UK-based Racing Enterprises and digital agency Rippleffect are looking for brand ambassadors – Voices of the Races – to post their experiences on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube and blogs to promote horse racing. Turf advocates need to gallop on over to the LoveTheRaces website to sign up and post videos/pix.
“A day at the races is an amazing experience and we want you to tell everyone about it,” says Racing Enterprises. “As a Voice Of The Races, you will be reporting back to the general public and your own army of dedicated fans, talking about the experiences that you have on the racecourse, in the build up and after the day, from what you wear to who you bet on and where you decide to eat and go out after.”
“Sporting brands need to be more inclusive and innovative in the way they attract ever more demanding audiences,” says Craig Johnson, commercial director at Rippleffect. “This campaign places huge importance on encouraging race goers to create content for the site, such as reporting from trackside, and taking part in photography or video competitions.”
