Augmented reality drinking hits NYC
Time Out New York has rolled out the first-ever mobile guide to cool drinking destinations in NYC. Users can visit the TO Summer Drinking channel by downloading the junaio augmented reality browser for iPhone and Android handsets to get info on featured bars offering deals, browse venue photos, contact numbers, directions and neighborhood maps.
The browser uses GPS and image-recognition to overlay digital content on the screen.
