Absolut says Spike Jonze… is here

absolut_imhereMovie here. Absolut last week began promo-ing I’m Here – the film it commissioned from Spike Jonze – in the UK ahead of the short movie’s global premiere 7th March.
The brand has been deploying billboard and graffiti messages to build intrigue around the launch, offering consumers the opportunity to go to exclusive preview screenings of I’m Here ‘in no ordinary places’.
Well, they’re ordinary, but not ordinary for screen buffs, with the film shown in bike stores, cafes and hairdressers in London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
Absolut drinks were served during screenings.
“With our new campaign, In An Absolut World, Ordinary is No Place To Be, we hope to challenge consumer perceptions about what is ordinary and everyday, and that daily life and routine can be made more interesting,” says Mark Hamilton, head of marketing for Vodka at Pernod Ricard UK.
